About the Day
The location is very important for a number of reasons. Fitzroy is Jamaican if there are people who are reading this, who are not aware of this fact. We thought we could have a much more fun, interesting and unique wedding if we exchanged vows in Jamaica. Besides all of this, most of his family is already in Jamaica, which cuts down on travel expenses for our families. My family is sure to be there.
The physical location of the wedding in Jamaica is also important. Negril is very close to Savannna La Mar where Fitzroy grew up. In addition, I thought a lot about the traditional locations for destination weddings in Jamaica and I liked the ClubHotel Riu much better , because of its European accents (not that I really like European design). ClubHotel Riu looks very unique compared with other resorts in the area and I felt that it goes hand in hand with our need for a unique wedding. Although, ClubHotel Riu is very different in terms of design, but also stands out when it comes to service. I believe our guests will appreciate the hospitality of the staff at this hotel.
